■ 国際学術シンポジウム『戦時における性暴力根絶のための国家責任履行と市民社会の役割』 
８月１４日（この日は韓国では日本軍「慰安婦」を偲ぶ記念日となっています）にソウルで開催されたシンポジウム『戦時における性暴力根絶のための国家責任履行と市民社会の役割』に参加してきました。
主催は韓国女性政策研究院（Korean Women's Development Institute）で、この機関は韓国政府の女性・家族部の外郭機関でシンクタンクの役割をはたしている。後援は韓国女性家族部である。韓国女性政策研究院のパク・ソンヨン上級研究員の話では、韓国女性家族部が「慰安婦問題」でこのような学術シンポジウムを開催するのは今回がはじめてのことだという。数ヶ月前に女性家族部が「慰安婦白書」を来年末をメドに刊行する計画を進めていることが、一部の新聞で報道されたが、今回のシンポジウムも現朴政権の「慰安婦問題」に対するこのような政策の一環をなすものと思われる。
報告および討論はいずれも興味深いものであったが、私の語学力の不足と時間的余裕がないのとで、詳しい紹介は省略したい。ただ、ご参考のために、プログラムを以下に掲げておく。
