Thu2012/06/05 10:22Right.First things first, deal with the weheatr.Korea is absolutely like being in an oven- the heat DOES not leave you alone for one second, except in business buildings which has air conditioning. So how to battle heat?Suncream, deoderant (you'll sweat a lot), and a hat will really come in useful. actually the suncream is debatable because it goes all gungy the moment you step outside because of your sweat! only apply it when your in a cool environment or it'll just be really uncomfortable.Oh yeah, one other thing i should say. I found it useful to just put a little squeezy soap bottle and put it in your pocket (or handbag) because I have to admit some toilets in korea is pretty unclean. Well, i mean the SOME public ones. not all of them. ONes that aren't really cared for hadnt had any SOAP!!! which i found frustrating. so i used to carry a small bottle of liquid soap bottle and apply it on my hands if there was no soap in toilets. In terms in clothing, I would recommend SHORT shorts and sleeveless tops. As korea is boiling I just used to wear shorts coming to my knees and sleeveless top. Dont worry much about fashion- Korea donest have a specific fashion trend as far as i know and cool stuff in your country will be cool in korea. just normal stuff will be okay.
